Following the BarCamp Tbilisi 2008 on 7-8 June, Transitions Online (TOL) - international media organization will present in Tbilisi a two-day workshop (9-10 June) on new media for people from Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. Expert training from leading new media professionals will be provided on the latest trends in new media, including podcasting, video casting, RSS feeds, social networks, etc. We will also discuss the latest developments in blogging - blogs’ impact on the media industry, the social and political impact of blogging, and case studies of success stories from traditional media.

Scholarships are limited and will cover travel, meals, and accommodations are available for 6 people from Azerbaijan. Applicants from Armenia and Georgia, that will already be in Tbilisi for the BarCamp are also encouraged to stay for the training and some meals will be provided to those selected to attend.
